In order to listen music transmitted in digital via satellite as good as possible in its sound quality, I use a digital-analog convertor for Sony CD players in stead of one in a BS tuner (This is very effective for improving sounds.) When I see succor games or sumo matches (Japanese wrestling ) on the high-vision, I use a built-in sound amplifier of high-vision TV set by activating Derby Effects of a sub-amplifier, without using a main amplifier. I can enjoy sports events in this way.
The Richard Allen speaker system were bought from Mr. Sugano of Koetsu. The thick and solid plywood board, on which a wolfer was attached, was specially made by Mr. Sugano. Furthermore the attenuators of the system were also made specially by Mr. Sugano.
I visited Mr. Sugano before noon today after long days. He will become ninety three years old in early next year. He looked fine with a clear and bright face. When I told him I was enjoying music with sounds of old days, he said he would like to come to my home and to check the sound quality by himself. Although he cannot move his right hand freely and walk without difficulty, his golden ears have been kept well.
