Today I saw a sunrise at my home and a sunset at a club house of our country club and I could take shots on both of them. It was about one degree, the coldest morning in this winter at Tokyo. At the county club, it had a first frost. It was a bit past 10:30 when we started a round. But a few greens were frozen in morning. It was really a fine day without any piece of clouds in blue sky. During the day time, it was rather warm and no wind. We could enjoy playing golf under fine weather.

It has been warm this winter so that new green sprouts grew from the withered turf. But once it had frost, the spouts would die ( this morning's frost did not harm them.)
Mr. Setsuo Kambe, a class mate ( his age is 81, a few years older than us because he was a student at our university dispatched from army,) made a record score of 91 strokes a few days ago. And he asked Mr. Kitagawa to have a match with us at the earliest occasion. We decided to play together with him to learn some secrets about his golf.
