This morning, I arrived at the hospital at 8:30. The appointment time with my doctor was 9:00 but I came here thirty minutes earlier because I was asked to take a blood test and a urine analysis test before seeing the doctor.

First I inserted my consultation card into a reception machine at the entrance lobby. Then a consultation sheet with the doctor's appointment time and also with required tests before seeing the doctor came out. I presented a consultation sheet to the test counter. I was given a cup for urine to the laboratory. A nurse took a sample blood from me. Then I came to my doctor's consultation room and handed my consultation sheet to a chief nurse. I waited at a bench on corridor until 9:00. When I was called into the room a bit past 9:00, the test results are on the display on the doctor's desk. Showing the display, the doctor consulted me. When I asked for a printed copy of test results, he directed the chief nurse to print it out. The doctor summarized the results that there was nothing wrong today. Then he decided the date of next consultation by asking my convenience and made out a prescription. Thus the today's consultation ended.

Then I submitted my consultation sheet to the calculation counter. This is the only part among the whole system relying on human works. The calculation of hospital charge are made by nurses. After waiting about ten minutes, I was called to the counter. A nurse checked my health insurance card and gave me a consultation time on the date which the doctor decided. I inserted the consultation card into a pay machine and paid the amount required by the machine. It printed out the receipt and a memo of the next consultation time and date with a receipt of medicine. When I brought this receipt to the pharmacist office, I could get a of my medicine without wait.

It took a week for getting a blood test results but now it takes only thirty minutes to get the most of the results. It is a revolutionary progress. In old days, we had to wait sometimes for a few hours to get medicine. But now no need to wait because the pharmacist office can get a prescription through intranet at the very moment when the doctor wrote jt. This is another remarkable progress.

Herewith I show you a blood test result. When I looked at it, I realized that the almost all human functions might be expressed in digits. In near future. intelligence, motion nerve, sensibility and emotion might be expressed in digits. Furthermore by generalizing all human functions' digits, the rating of human being might be done. That is what I am afraid of.
