The sun has been moving down to south so that I can see a sunrise from my living room without being interrupted by big buildings. It is an exciting moment to have a sunlight suddenly in the room with clear shadows of people on wall which are the same size of real people. |

Mr. Kuroiwa collected information mainly about world railways through magazines of United Kingdom, Germany, France and United States. And he generalized it and also classified it into world regions, by keeping it in data base. There is no equivalent to the book in the world. He has been making this book without getting any help from the others by using his off time from his job.
Today, it was a day of a lunch-on meeting with my class mates held at the office of Alumni Association. I attended it a bit late. Mr. Kuroiwa told how he has been making his books. Everyday after he takes evening meals at his home, he takes a nap until nine o'clock. Then he starts his works by using PC through one or two o'clock in midnight, sometimes up to five in morning. He is enjoying his efforts for making books, he said. Sometimes he meets quite an interesting reports such as a study of causes of a train crash at the suburb of London a few months ago, he mentioned. Some one said why he did work so hard not for making money at all. He replied a few people evaluate his works very high. That is enough for him.
If you read this book, you will become a top level researcher of world railways.
