I visited Sengakuji temple at 5:30 this morning, but I could not enter the precinets of temple because a fence at the front gate of temple closed the way. A man who was cleaning a souvenir store told me the temple was open from seven in morning through 6 in evening. As it was a memorial day, it was open until ten yesterday.

It was said to be early in the morning of December 15 when Ako Loyal Retainers arrived at the Sengakuji temple. I expected that a few people would come here almost the same time as of them to experience the same circumstances at the temple. But I did not see any of them.

The temple is managed like a company (I did not know the temple had opening and closing time.) And people have become straightforwardly so that sentiments at the era of Genroku faded away. Their going away left to me a sensible void.

At ten o'clock in the morning, I came to Tokyu Hands again. Sibuya looks like a business street at the time of day completely different from it after dark. I received a call from them on Monday afternoon as they promised.

It informed me that they received a cost estimation from a manufacturer and suggested me to visit them again because they hoped me to touch various vinyl sheets myself before I made a selection of them. As I came to them again, it has become possible for me to get a best vinyl cover for my amplifier. I was satisfied very much with their service.

On my way back, I bought a portable cooking range and nine small canned gas for it as a counter measure against Y2k.

In the afternoon, I concentrated my efforts on writing new year greeting cards up to midnight.B
