11/6/99

Yesterday we had a Kurosunakai golf match. It was one of the best day for playing golf in the season. It was perfectly fine without any piece of clouds in sky, not warm, not cool and almost no wind. The winner was Mr. Toshihiro Muraki whom I introduced on this diary a few days ago. He exercised at a driving range every morning for more than two hours. He (HP: 10) finished a round with net score on eighties. But all others's net strokes were over ninety. Every one of us were reflecting on his play at the lunch party held after the game.

This golf course was quite a difficult one. The distance was so long that even at short holes we had to use woods. Furthermore, there are a few big ponds. Although it was discussed to add a few strokes to HP, no one was willing to do it.

This evening I went to Ginza to buy incense sticks at Kyukyodo. It was the first time for me in the year to see big crowds on the Ginza street. The Japanese economy might have started to revive.
