Yesterday the tops of world auto manufacturers made speeches toward PRESS at their own exhibition corners. I took snap shots of them.

I could not approach to front raws of Press seats at Toyota corner because many cameramen occupied the front even more than one hour earlier. I could only see Mr. Cho, president of Toyota on a TV screen installed on both sides of stage. Although the top executives of GM and Toyota including Jack Smith, chairman of GM, and Shoichiro Toyoda, honorary chairman of Toyota met together on the stage and shaked hands each other, I could not see them at all.

I happened to find Piechi, chairman of VW when he was alone on the ground floor. I could get a shot of him when he made a pose for me. After Ghson made his speech in fluent Japanese, he took a seat at front row and tried to listen a Japanese executive's speech about the products, But he was sieged by cameramen all in at once
