I went to bed as early as 19:00 last night after taking shower because I was so tired by long distance drive, getting up at 3:00 in the early morning and finishing a diary of yesterday. While I was in deep sleep, heavy showers attacked the metopoltan center with the result that power supply stopped for JR trains and several roads were flooded . When I waked up early in the morning today, I heard sounds of rain but the rain stopped soon.
As it was Monday, I expected that Venus Fort which was introduced by Mr. Iino yesterday might not be crowded. I drove up there and arrived about 11:30. The western parking lot was full already. So I parked my car on the 2nd floor of eastern lot. In order to come to Venus Fort, I had to walk down quite a little through Toyota' s showroom.

Venus Fort is magnificent. It looks like underground shopping malls in Las Vegas. Statues with water spring are installed at plazas and ceiling on corridors are like real blue sky. I was impressed by its extravagance. |

It got together shops which girls would like to visit. Those shops collected products only to sell to girls. Most of visitors are female up to thirties. Some of them are prinking up. |

| It seems to be hard to enter for shoppers without primping themselves. | Cheese Shop. It is amazing that girls have such big interests in cheese. |
Many visitors to Yokohama Seaside Marina are said to come from remote places by riding on Super Express Trains, even by night buses. So it is expected to be quite sure that many girls are coming from all over Japan.
While I was staying in U.S.A., I never had seen many girls in daytime. They showed up to stores in evening or on holidays including weekends. It is quite strange that I see such big crowds of girls in midday in Japan.
Mr. Kinshi Ito, a class mate, sent me a mail informing that the extension of Yokohama City Subway to Shonandai station is completed and the service was started from yesterday. Passengers from Shonandai can get to Totsuka in 11 minutes and to Kannai in 33 minutes. Mr. Ito who made his first ride on train got off at newly built Shimoiida station. Then he ride on an elevator from platform down to exit. But it stopped at the middle of going down and he and a few others were held in a small cage without any cooling air for about one hour. Elevator is said to be one of the most simple transportation machines. The fact that such a big trouble happened at the very first day of operation and it took such a long time to rescue the passenger should be investigated. It is poor story.
