As a typhoon is going north along the west side of Kyushu Island, it is raining hard in Kyushu and Shikoku islands. The local weather stations issued flood warnings. But it is a fine day at the Kanto area including Metropolitan Tokyo because the area is being covered by high pressure zone from Pacific Ocean. It is very hot but rather comfortable compared with it on yesterday because it has rather strong wind.

In the late afternoon, I went to a summing pool. There I met a few of my jogger friends. Although they were so surprised at first as they saw a gohast of mine, they welcome me warmly. In spite of the fierce hot weather, they came back from daily exercise of five kilometer run. They look healthy and young as of the old days. At the swimming pool, I walked in water 300 meters and shimmed 25meters. It was my first experience to swim with ear plugs. But the plugs were lost at the very moment I started to swim. Fortunately the plugs were floating on water surface and I could recover them which I bought to day. The instruction explaining how to use them is with their box and found out I have to follow the procedures for using them.

A lunar eclipse started at about 19:30 and it became the biggest about 22:30. From the shadow of the earth on the surface of moon, I realized the earth was much bigger than the moon. The moon became full again about midnight. Although I observed a quite few times lunar eclipses, I enjoyed the best view of eclipse tonight I have never seen before.
