It rained heavily all day in Tokyo.

As my house is built on the top of a low hill
which looks like a horse back, the rains run out to the drains
quickly. But it rained so hard today that vehicles were driving
through the front street with splashing water. |
Fortunately it had no wind at all. Children
were escorted to their kindergarten by their mothers as usual.

The Obon Festival in Tokyo started from today.
In the evening, all lanterns were lighted up. The belt of lighted
lanterns was illuminating dark sky beautifully. |
