* I went to the Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Department Store in morning although it was raining hard. Only a few customers appeared to the store as was expected because of bad weather. Those who came were enjoying the leisurely shopping. I found the Fortnum & Mason in London opened a small cafe within the store. Although it was 11:30 when I entered the cafe, almost all of tables were occupied already. I became aware that there were only two male customers including me,
These days there is no difference of wages or salaries between workers of both sexes. So that even though ladies become over thirty years old, they remain single. Thus they are enjoying the rich unmarried life. There were not a few such customers in this cafe, who were wearing the famous world brand dresses. These big female spenders are supporting the bottom of Japanese national economy, I think. I took a few pieces of sandwich from the lunch time menu sets. They tasted well and had more than enough volume. I was at the cafe of its main store in London once, but I found today that the foods were tasted better in Tokyo than in London. Incidentally, the lunch costed me about 1,500 yen. On my way back, I was surprised to see many customers were coming in although it was still raining. There might be special events such as afternoon sale on rainy day.
I went to the Tokyo Kyosai Hospital in Nakamerguro directly from the store and got a thirty minute machine massage.

* After the hospital, I went to the Sodosha in Todoroki, a picture frame store. I had ordered them to put a frame on Mr. Hiroshi Murata's latest art work ( titled as "Hidden space: Double Green".) I was satisfied with the new frame. |
Mr. Hiroshi Senjyu, another Hiroshi, has been working actively on arts in New York, while Mr. Hiroshi Murata has been active in New Jersey. Mr. Hiroshi Senjyu's talent was developed by his mother's excellent infant education. Mr. Hiroshi Murata's mother denied the Japanese school education and introduced the American way of education to Japan. She established the Nishimachi school near their residence in Azabu, Tokyo. The school adopted the American education system. Hiroshi could enter the faculty of arts and architect of the Yale university directly from her school. Since that time, he has grown to an established artists in U.S.A. His father was a graduate of arts and architect faculty of Tokyo National Arts College. Observing the growth of two Hiroshi-san, I acknowledged that talented children become genius by their parent's education.@As Mr. Hiroshi Murata will come again in April, next year, I would like to have a chance for hearing about his parent's education.
