* A photo shop printed postcard size pictures for me from a memory card. I brought the memory, on which some of good pictures taken by my digital camera were copied. That is all things I did myself. The pictures were printed less than twenty minutes. I was surprised by their fast works. If I make a contract with a shop, I can send digital pictures to them by e-mail. If I do all these things at my home, it takes hours of works and furthermore, its finish is not necessarily good. This is a very good service for digital cameras fans.
* Originally I thought I could listen to a NHK's radio English course without having its textbook. But I found it would be better for me to have it because of my poor English ability. So I went to a book store in Shinagawa to get it. I was surprised to find that the store kept a big inventory of its back numbers. Because they are the hidden best seller, I thought.
| * A dinner was held for Mrs. Yoko Koshida (widow of late Mr. Hikoshiro Koshida, one of my best colleagues while I was working for the Ministry of International Trade and Industry) at Apicius, a French food restaurant located at the basement of Sanshi Hall in Yurakusho. Mr. and Mrs. Shin Oyama and Mr. Ryozo Koshida (adopted as the husband for Mrs.Koshida's daughter) attended the dinner. It started from six o'clock and was filled with the cheerful voices. On the walls of this restaurant, many precious paintings which the owner has collected are exhibitediart works of Maric Chagall, August Renoir, Maurice Utrillo, etc.) |

Mrs. Oyama told her one-day-a-week baby sitter life for her daughter. She and her husband have two boys and a girl. She told humorously it is quite a fan for their grand mother to take care of them. Promising to see again, the meeting was dissolved past nine o'clock.
A few customers were coming in rather late in evening, at seven or eight o'clock. Japanese are becoming late comers to dinner while I am unaware of it. I do not think it is not good for their health.
