Five survivors of Japanese who were abducted by the north Korean came back to Tokyo this afternoon. News on radio and TV were reporting their arrival all day long. I was surprised to see the buses, which transported them from airport to the Akasaka Prince Hotel, on TV screen all their way like a marathon race broadcast. But only one of them looked at the view of Metropolis through a window. The others closed windows with curtains so that they did not see the outside at all. The coming negotiations with North Korean would be not easy because the North Korean government did not admit the return of their family together with five survivors. As they had puzzled expression on their faces, it would take time for them to understand the life of their home country. It was very fine today. Being apart from TV screen, I drove out without deciding the destination. I drove through Hibiya, Ginza or Komazawa streets. I was astonished hordes of travelers crowded in Harumi street. The most of them were aged. They had bags on their back and walked in line. As it is the best season for travels, many people come up here to make shopping at Ginza and to visit Disneyland, I suppose..

The English conversation lesson by NHK which my aged relatives are taking seemed to be very good. If I learn in their way, my English speaking ability would be improved. The problem is how long I can follow their teaching, I think.

I renewed the software of "Ekispert." It became better at every renewal. Meanwhile, I changed the disc map for car navigator with the latest edition. Of course they have been improved partially, but I discovered not a few errors. When I climbed up to the fifth station of Mt. Fuji, it mixed up "Fuji-Sky-line" and "Fuji-Subaru-line" so that I could not put the destination in my navigator. It cannot differentiate a rout on elevated speedway and standard ground highway under the speedway. Inside the city, roads and highways are mixed up so that there are many choices of routes to the destination. When I change a route to the destination after I set it, the voice guide tried to come back to the original route repeatedly. It is a mere noise. It should be designed to have an on/off switch of voice guide, I think.
