At about 6:10 this morning, I succeeded in taking a picture of "Red-Fuji" (Mt. Fuji colored in red.) It was the first time for me to see "Red-Fuji." On the bottom of picture, there is an area in black. It is a shadow of the Hakone mountain including the Otome pass where I stood to take the picture. A clear part within the shadow is the city of Gotemba. To say the truth, I tried to get here at least fifteen minutes before six in morning and to take shots of Mt. Fuji together with a night view of Gotemba city. But I failed to come on time not only yesterday morning but this morning too. And I missed chances two times. As it was very fine this morning, I stayed there for a while to take a whole view of Mt. Fuji after the sun rose up. I was in my car to warm me up as it was very cold. Right at the moment, Mt.Fuji began to change its color to red. I think the "Red-Fuji" continued its red color for five minutes at the longest.
