* Mr. Hiroshi Murata, one of my cousins, who
has been living in French Town in New Jersey, U.S.A., has an exhibition
of his works in Tokyo after years. I was invited to attend its
opening party from five o'clock held at a small gallery in Azabu-Jyuban,
Tokyo. There was a large turnout at the party. It was a great
success. The exhibition was consisted of three categories, namely
the constructions of aluminium (relief), paintings and photographs.
He made many master pieces successively but this time he prepared
the small works fit for Japanese homes which have only limited
walls for exhibiting arts within houses. But his superior creativeness
was expressed in every one of his works. I enjoyed fully the exhibition
( if you want to have more about him, please refer to the following

It was a rare occasion when two couples of my
cousins met together. Mr. "K" (the left one on the
picture ) has joined recently a manufacturer of wind power generators.
He said the biggest one could generate 5,000 kw. |

A three shot picture, Mr. Hiroshi and Mrs. Nancy
Murata, and me was taken. A green square picture exhibited behind
us is titled as"Hidden space:@Double Green"painted
on acrylic fiber/canvas. It looks like a highest quality fabric.
I made an unwise question to him who weaved it. I felt a big
energy of fresh sprouts. |

* After the party, I went out to Ginza to join
a free talk meeting with youths. No one except me did not know
that exercise tax was imposed in U.S.A. even after the end of
Pacific War. Being inspired by this fact, I talked about the
reminiscences until late in evening. |
