* A set of IBM535, which I sent to Mr. Yoshinobu Nakamura to install Windows the day before yesterday, was sent back to me this morning via express mail. Right after the receipt of package, I connected it to power with an adapter and switched it on. I found Windows95 was working well. The old data such as reports on my trips to U.S.A. before 1998 or on travels to Nepal is preserved well. I can read a page of yesterday on Travel Diary. Linking to V2, I can write a draft of diary on V2 from IBM535. It was perfectly restored. It is quite a pleasure to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Nakamura's advise and his kind help. As for sending and receiving of e-mails, cannot do it right now because my mail address is on the old ibm.net. I will renew it later when I get time.
* In afternoon, I went to Ginza street again. The street was open only to pedestrians today too like Sunday, yesterday. Many families were walking leisurely. I have not seen such big crowds on the street except the shopping season in year end. A foreign street performer demonstrated a puppet musician playing violin on music from a CD player. It was skillful and humorous. People, from infants to aged, were observing his play by making a big ring around him.

It became rather cool at last and cicadas faded away.
