* Yokozuna (grand champion sumo wrestler) Musashimaru won the championship of the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament today by defeating Yokozuna Takanohana (Takanohana hurt himself in a tie-breaker on the final day of the sumo tournament last year although he won the championship. But his right knee was injured so badly that he could not fight again until the fist day of this autumn tournament. Although he came back to the sumo ring, no one expected that he could fight with Musashimaru in tie-breaker on the championship final. The most people thought that his career as a sumo wrestler was over. ) Takanohana looked stiffly today while Musashimaru was determined to win the final. After he became the champion, he told reporters that he waited for a fight with his rival Takanohana for months because no one appraised his victory against wrestlers ranked below him. I was impressed his fighting spirit as a professional. I expected to make a walk after the sumo game, it had a shower so that I canceled my walk.

* This morning, Premier Jyunichiro Koizumi appeared on a Q&A program of commercial broadcasting and talked patiently about the Japan-North Korea meeting, the abduction of Japanese nationals, stimulative measure of national economy and etc. Mr. Kenichi Takemura said a very thoughtful comments at the other TV program. He might be a Soseki Natsume in modern Japan. His comments always refreshed the way of Japanese thinking. If he is 10 years younger in his age, we might be able to expect something from him. U.S.A. President George Bush advocated for the start military actions against Iraq even if he cannot get consensus from allied nations. I wonder he can finish the coming war in a short time by fighting alone, as far as I refer to the old Korean War, Viet Num War or the latest war in Afghanistan. It would not be easy for him to end the coming war in short time without having any help from his friendly nations. I think the most important thing for western nations right now is to revitalize their economy.

I was working on PC throughout a day, by peeping TV once in a while.
