When I was working to collect through internet not only domestic but overseas data about late Messrs. Toshio Mizui and Kazuo Sakamaki, suddenly a warning message came on the screen of my computer. "You will have big troubles, if you continue to use your computer. Your credit card number which you used for on-line shopping will some times remain in the outside file. It could be seen by the other persons. Could you erase it before the other person try to get it ?....Protect yourself now. It is the last chance now." While I was hesitating to reply, the message faded away. At first I did not pay much attention on it. But it came out frequently. As I happened to get its picture on screen, I sent it to Mr. Yoshinobu Nakamura, owner and general manager of Cafe de Atheneum. After he studied it, he said it might be a friendly advise. But there was a virus years ago which sent almost the same message as this one. So it is risky to reply it with "OK." It might infringe the computer with virus. He suggested me to send my computer to him for checking. Immediately I sent it to him by express mail.
As the V2, a main computer of LAN at my home, suddenly became impossible to operate, I chose the V1, SONY PCG141-B, as its temporary replace. As it is small in size and light in weight, I have it to use when I am on overseas trips. However as I have used it as a sub-machine at my home, the very complicated procedures were required to get the same function on it as of V2. Mr. Nakamura helped me to get through them on phone.
Thus uP succeeded the operation of V2. I could complete the Japanese version's draft of a page dated September 15 which was almost finished and uploaded it without much delay. Successively I could upload the English version of the page although it was delayed almost two days. As uP's key board is too small for my fingers, I repeated typing errors many times. I was obliged to waste not a few hours. Furthermore, I could see only twelve lines at a glance on screen. The machine might be good for writing short messages but was unsuitable for writing articles. I have been in troubles. I was delayed two days now.
