* In Hakone, it was cloudy in morning. But when I drove up to the Otome mountain pass past ten o'clock, I could see Mt. Fuji unexpectedly. Clouds were running through the top of mountain from west to east successively. It was really a stirring scenery. At the next time when I can see the mountain again, it may be covered by new snows.

I continued to drive back to Tokyo. I was surprised to find in Tokyo it was really hot with high humidity.
* The formal repair cost estimate on my IBM 505 note PC was received today. The new estimate was about ten thousand yen more than the interim estimate at the repair counter. It said the repair works include the renewal of HDD and its related electronic circuits. When I was writing my book titled as "The Origin of Competitive Strength," I went back and forth between U.S.A. and Japan carrying this 535. I also brought the note PC to the Himalaya mountains. So I have a big attachment to that PC. Furthermore, its body was strongly built. It is looked like a new one when its outside is cleaned. At the time I bought it, IBM put on it a label of my name. So I could not bear with throwing it away and ordered to repair it at the increased estimate.
* Meanwhile, I got a phone call from SECOM informing my pass word renewal of COCOSECOM was completed.
