To provide for the today's summer golf, I prepared the varieties of goods from a few days ago. Light golf shoes (300 grams made by Mizuno,) light sunshade ( a lightest anti-ultraviolet shade made in Korea,) bottles of Pocari Sweat (300 grams per pet bottle,) anti-insects spray, an anti-heat hat and an anti-heat tie. I was wondering whether I wear a long sleeve shirt or a short sleeve shirt until the last moment. If I wear a short pant, I have to wear long socks up to knees. So I bought a pair of long golf socks at Mitsukoshi when I bought a anti-heat hat the other day. When I wore it at my home, the rubber bound weaved into the upper part of socks cut into my legs. Although I cut a hole into the upper part of socks, still the tension of rubber band was too strong for me. As I wear a short pant at any occasion in this summer, I wish to play golf wearing short pant and short socks if the club admit me to play with short socks, If not, I will wear a long pant. They admitted me to play with short pant and short socks.

I played with a four sum of Mr. "S", who collaborated me to write a book about fifty years ago titled as "The present conditions of Japanese auto industry and its future"(a member of this club from years ago), Messrs. Hideo Kitagawa and Jyunji Uwano, both of them my classmates. The caddy master set our start from No.10 hole a bit before 8:30. As we had no following players, we could play freely. Although the sun was shining hard already when we started, it had rather strong sea breeze. It helped us to play comfortably (a newspaper reported today's maximum temperature in Yokohama was 34 degrees.) Furthermore a female caddy with us was very active for helping players. She brought clubs to players running around the field and also assisted us to read grass on greens. Mr. "rh and Mr. Kitagawa finished the round less than 90 strokes. Mr. Uwano satisfied with the results, His tee shots got good distance. He made successively good approach shots and wonderful puddings. Although I thought at first I left the four sum after we finished the front half, I followed them until the last hole. Many goods I prepared for today's summer golf were helpful for me. As I was sunburned, a bath room attendant cautioned me to take only shower.

iThe above picture was taken right after we finished the front half.)

On my way back, both of the Yokohama-Haneda Speed Way and the Bayside Super Express Highway were congested. I selected the bayside highway but it took one hour and a half. I have not had such a heavy congestion from the coutry club. After I came back, I tried to work on my diary. But I became very sleepy and went to bed at about seven.
