I was quite busy this morning. I went to the
Post Office to send money to the Alumni Association of National
Kamakura Teacher College's attached Primary School for a copy
of alumni dictionary. Although I expected to waste many minutes
for sending money as its counter was heavily crowded, I could
send it without waiting in line for my turn (the post office is
closed from today's evening to January 2, Wednesday, 2002 as the
year end holidays. I went to the Shinagawa service shop of Tokyo
Toyopet Co. to pay for the new edition of DVD Voice Navigation
System Map Disc (the ATM machines at banks are quite busy today
because almost all big companies will end their business today
for year end and new year holidays.) I had a visitor at 11:00
at my home. At about 15:30, I went to the Nihombashi Mitsukoshi
and exchanged a warm shirt which I bought a few days ago to a
warm pant. As the food stuff floor at the basement was very crowded,
I went directly Marunouchi street to see the Tokyo Millenaio (a
whole street illumination copying from Kobe Luminaries) by taxi.
Many people were waiting in lines. After about thirty minutes,
it was lit up magnificently before 17:30. I walked through the
illumination arch tunnel together with many people. It was rather
warm this morning. It was a good walk for me.
