* It was a substitute holiday for the Emperor Birthday on Sunday yesterday. The hospital was closed to the outpatients today. But its radiotherapy room was opened not only for the inpatients but for the outpatients. So I could get the therapy as usual. Although the accounting counter was closed today, they made arrangements for the outpatients to liquidate the today's expenses tomorrow.
| Doctors as well as Radiation Therapy Engineers are making efforts to get the best results. They also are very kind to patients by caring them personally (the right picture are radiation engineers. Machines behind them is a gantry of Microtron.) |

In order to have the correct radiation points, they put marks on the skins of lower abdomen and upper thigh of mine with magic ink. While I am taking radiotherapy, I have to keep them not to fade away. Meanwhile I found it is very effective to decrease the number of entering toilet room during night to go bed directly after taking bath or shower. I told my discovery to the engineers, they said you can take bath or shower as much as you want. If marks fade away, we will trace the old marks frequently. They practiced as they said. For the patients, it is the greatest pleasure to see the all related personnel are making every efforts to treat the patients well. I am thankful to all of them.
Now only three days are left for completing the planned therapy.
* At the exit of the Tsukiji Market subway station, I was handed out a beautiful colored brochure about the "Fish Market Street" I learned from it that there were many food stuff retailers and also a few sushi or noodle stands. As I did not take breakfast this morning, I dropped in one of sushi stands. It is opened at six o'clock in every morning and closed at late afternoon. It serves very good sushi with fresh fishes, excellent wasabi (Japanese horseradish) and good sliced ginger in vinegar. Although its space is narrow, I think it is one of the best sushi bars in Tokyo. Its customers were consisted of traders at the market and of those who came to see the early morning wholesale trade and also to get fresh but low priced food stuffs. Although it was after nine o'clock, they were coming one after another continuously.
* In afternoon, I went to the Ebisu Mitsukoshi to get breads. When I arrived there, its big parking lots were almost full. I fortunately could get a space for my Prius. The store was crowded with many family buyers. The most of them were with children. When I saw the Tokyo tower from my home after dark, it was illuminated like a big candle.
