Today I drove westward within the Greater Tokyo to see the Sakura Josui (Cherry Water) in winter. The row of cherries along the Josui was seemed to be busy for preparing themselves for the coming spring by putting out sprouts. I felt the toughness on their naked branches, not the pathos of winter.

I parked my car at the Koganei Park and took a walk there. But it was very cold there. The snow of yesterday remained in the shade. People were wearing warm winter jackets. A free market was opened at sunny part of the park. It was very crowded. It was so cold for me that I left there early. When I got back to my home, it was 13 degrees, rather warm.
