This morning I went to the hospital by car, because the weather station said it might have snows at the center of Metropolis this afternoon. The cold air mass was expected to come down to the area. And I had another appointment in the same morning in Shinjuku. When I arrived at the hospital's parking lots, only four cars were there. When I registered at the radio therapy room at 8:30, I was the second patient of today. Usually I was from the seventh to the tenth. When I left Shinjuku at past eleven, it started to rain lightly. Before I arrived at my home, it became a heavy rain. It changed to sleet later but I never saw the first snow in this season which news media reported later.

In afternoon I was busy for writing year end greeting cards. Usually I put cards into envelopes but this year I used post cards without envelope due to the anthrax incidents. I brought them to a post office before seven when the office closed the mailing of today. But I forgot to put short greeting notes on the cards,
