After the radio therapy started on November 12, it has passed 18 days. I have to go to the hospital 27 days more to finish the radio therapy from tomorrow, December 1, 2001. Up to now, I got the radiation 14 times, following smoothly the original schedule (on November 26, due to the trouble of radiation machine, I got radiation from the smaller power machine.)
Trough today, I have been in good shape. The only difference is to get to rest room a bit more frequently. But it varies everyday. I used to eat little. However I have made efforts to have enough food for keeping my physical strength. These day I can eat enough at every meal and I am afraid that I became bulimia. The weight of mine increased by 1.5 kg in last one month.
Every morning I leave my home at past seven thirty. I take the Asakusa line of Metropolitan subway from its Sengakuji station to Daimon station (the second stop) and change to Ohedo line to the next stop, Tsukiji Market. Then I make five minutes walk to the hospital. It takes about thirty five minutes from my home to the hospital. The traffic jam on trains on Asakusa line between Sengakuji and Daimon varies according to time. Earlier the train I take, the less crowded it is. Meanwhile vacant seat is almost always available on Ohedo line trains. On my way back, trains on both lines have few passengers. If I drive to the hospital, it takes only twenty minutes in early morning. But I take trains for exercise. I have planned not to drive until the therapy finished.@
These days I have accustomed to leave my home early and I am enjoying for going to the hospital just like pupils are going to school.
So far I am quite well. Thank you.
