Mr. Ichiro Kitano, a class mate who lived in Kobe, visited Nara on November 23. He saw a newly restored Suzaku Gate of Heijo Palace and also looked at the magnificent mural paitings by Maestro Ikuo Hirayama at the wall pictures exhibition hall of Yakushi Temple. He mailed me eleven pictures as shown below.
