Last night I was awakened from my first sleep by a call from a freind informing the other plane was crashed in New York. Immediately I switched on radio and listened to the news. But I did not get up to see TV until this morning. Whenever I awaked, I confirmed the progress of incident on radio news. But they repeated almost the same story until this morning.

Today it has a tranparent blue sky without any cloud. I left my home at 7:50 am. and went to the hospital on subway. The train was crowded with high and middle school stuedents as it was time for them to go to school. When I changed to Ohedo Line at Daimon station, the train was not crowded. At the Tsukiji Market Sation, the first stop from Daimon, I got off. The very moment when I exited from the subway, I saw the tall building of hospital in beutiful blue sky. |
I arrived at the radio therapy room of hospital at about 8:20. There were alredy a few patients, some of them with their family, waiting their turn for treatment by looking at TV. It started from 8:30 . The same technitians as of yesterday did the radiation on me. The machine did the seven times of radiation from various angles automatically. It took about six minutes. I did not feel any pain at all. I have to repeat the same treatment sixty eight times from tomorrow. I could get to my home at 9:40. Before noon I went to a bank in Ohtemachi and then to the Ebistu Mitsukoshi to buy food.
