I had a nice luncheon with Mr. Tatsuro Toyoda and Mr. Terukazu Inoue today. Three of us once worked together at Products Planning of Toyota Motor Sales Co. It was an alumni meeting (in 1973, we made a month long market research trip to Europe.)

Mr. Toyoda recovered fairly well due to his extraordinary efforts for rehabilitation. Mr. Inoue has grown to be one of the powerful leaders of young business men (President of Japan Auditor Association. Both of them said to me I looked fine. But I felt my brain, energy and power were falling with age and sick. iA man, left on the above picture, is Mr. Taizo Chigira, Mr. Toyoda's secretary.)

I read Mr. Akira Yoshimura's new book titled as "The War in Tokyo"(published by Chikuma Shobo on July 25, 2001@ISBN4-480-81436-1.j He was born in Tokyo on May 1, 1927. He wrote down his memories during the war. He is younger than me only by three years and three months. Still his life during and right after the war was different from mine.
