It was fine from early morning. When I drove up to the Otome pass after six o'clock, I could see a whole view of Mt. Fuji. As it had the continued good weather these days, the air was dried up so that few moistures were left. There were no clouds at all around the mountain. A picture on bottom right was taken from Gotemba city. It had a little moistures.

I took a breakfast at Disney in Gotemba. Although it was before seven, it was a surprise for me to see the place was rather crowded with mid-aged couples, just like in California. American way of daily life was infiltrated in the local areas more than in Tokyo Metropolis. One of the main reasons for this is that the restaurants here have enough parking spaces.

After nine o'clock, I received a call form the NTT Odawara telephone station informing that they would begin the works within the station for switching to Flets ISDN and the telephone line was closed during the works for about thirty minutes. Within twenty minutes, I got a call reporting the works were finished. I could acknowledge that my line was connected to Flets ISDN for 24 hours.

I left for Tokyo after two and got to my home after four thirty. Immediately I tried to connect my Vaio to Rosenet. I could not get it. Mr. Yoshinobu Nakamura taught me on phone how to rewrite some parts of system (he said the change of system should be made automatically. There might be some causes in the system which were not known to him yet.)
