The heavy rains which continued from last night stopped at about two o'clock in early morning. But it was cloudy this morning. The weather forecast said that it would become fine and warm, raising the temperature by five degrees. The top end of Tokyo tower was covered by clouds when I saw it from my house at about four thirty.

I left for Hakone at past nine. By this time, it became very fine, but Mt. Fuji was covered by clouds so that it could not be seen on the super express way. When I went out from a Seven-Eleven shop in Gotemba, I could see the top of mountain. So I hurried to the top of Otome mountain pass. At that very moment, I could see a whole view of mountain. I stopped the car and took shots of mountain hurriedly as shown in below. When I got to the top of pass, the mountain was completely covered by clouds. These are only pictures which I could get throughout the day.

Although it was a holiday for his laboratory, Mr. Yoshinobu Nakamura came to Sengokuhara from Lake Kawaguchi and taught me kindly how to install a used rooter which was very convenient to operate on OCN's Filets ISDN and also how to operate it. With a rooter, it becomes possible to connect multi sets of personal computers simultaniously. Two minutes after I stop the operation of computers, the connection to the line is automatically cut off so that it prevent me to pay the excess amount of transfer fee. In evening, I went down to an electronic appliance store in Gotemba. It has a big inventory of various products and also their parts and accessories just like stores in Akihabara. Its sales staffs were trained well and consulted me politely. They were priced almost the same as at Akihabara. Furthermore it has a big parking lots next to the store enough for their customers. I thought these things were quite essential for strengthening the fundamental of IT age.
