The attack against the terrorists in Afghanistan was expected to start at every moment from last night. When I waked up at three o'clock in morning, I switched on my portable radio although it was almost midnight, I caught a radio news from NHK reporting that the U.S. attack to Taliban had started about two hours earlier. Immediately, I put on a televison and looked at flushes of anti-aircraft guns or explosions of bombs in dark sky on live. I also looked at BBC or ABC through the night. The most important problems now are how the Taliban would make their so-called sacred attacks against the U.S. or some other parts of the world. As the aim of their attack is to terrify the people of world, it will be their success if they can have big serious events at some part of the world. The U.S. and Britain are not always their targets. Japan is one of the most probable targets. The security around the U.S. military bases in Okinawa and the atomic power plants have been tightened. But the social structure of Japan has been vulnerable against the terrorisms, as you saw the sarin incident by a fanatic occult group, I am afraid.
Incidentally, it was the last day of three day holidays. Yesterday, I tried to check a computer terminal installed at a Seven-Eleven shop whether I could get a reserved ticket for the Disney Sea which has been opened since September 4. I found out unexpectedly that the tickets for September 9 were not sold out yet. It was a bit intersting for me to operate the terminal machine so that I proceeded to buy a ticket and to have it right after I completed the necessary procedures. It was a surprise to have a ticket printed on a specially made paper for Disney Sea.
I left my home at 7:30 am. Although it was a holiday morning, the traffic on the Bayside Speed Way was smooth. After I got off at the Maihama interchange, I had to drive quite a lot of distance to the main gate of Disney Sea. I arrived there at 8:00 am. and followed the directions of gurardmans to the fifth floor parking lots which was the roof top floor of five storied building. Up to the fourth floor, all parking lots were full already, The mono-rail train from JR Maihama station is available other than vehiles as a transportaion. A big station for the train has been built at the front of Disney Sea's main gate.

I imagined that a three funnel ship anchored at a pier was a luxurious ocean liner like Queen Elizabeth, but she was a small cruise ship, I was rather disappointed.

You need patinece here to wait in line. To enjoy the popular exhibitions, you have to wait upto 110 minutes. Still people were waiting obdiently in a long line. As I had not such a patience, I could be on board a steam ship which went around a park through canal becuase the waiting time for this cruise was 15 minutes. I left the park past 1:00 pm. and could get home after forty minutes drive on the Bayside Speed Way.
