Before noon when I passed through a road at the front of Zojoji temple in Shiba, a big parade started on the street. The head of Minato-ku (Minato ward) lead the parade, riding on an open car.

I went to the Imperial Hotel to eat at its coffee shop after months. But many customers were waiting in line. So I was looking for the other place to have lunch within the hotel. I happened to have an idea to go up to the buffet restaurant on the top floor of tower (of old building) and asked a uniformed guide at the front lobby whether I could eat at the buffet although I did not make reservation. She called the restaurant and found that I was quite lucky to have lunch there immediately. The restaurant is a very famous place for sightseers from the outside of Tokyo Metropolis so that it has been full always. I have never had chance for eating there for years. Polished up silver knives and folks, wonderful foods which were cooked conscientiously, good view of a plaza at the front of place double bridges and roofs of court buildings in palace woods satisfied the group tour customers very much. But when a tour conductor told them it was almost the time they had to leave for the other sights, they hurried away. Just after the waiters made tables, the next tour group was coming in. It was really a wonderful flow of business.

But individual customers could enjoy foods as long as they like. It did not cost you so much. This place is my recommendation ( Reservation is recommended. Three hour free parking ticket is given.)

After this, I went down to the hotel's second floor where a bargain sale of Mitsukoshi Department Stores was held throughout the floor. The place was heavily crowded with middle aged ladies (few male customers.) It was filled with excitement. I left quickly.
