| It was a beautiful day from early morning. But when I drove up to Otome mountain pass 15 minutes before six in morning, I could not see Gotemba city nor Mt. Fuji at all because of heavy clouds covering them. Immediately, I drove through the tunnel down to Sengokuhara. At the very moment, the sun rose up in east sky. I stopped my Prius at a small rest area and took a picture shown on the right. |

I left Hakone about one thirty in afternoon for Tokyo. The traffic on the up lane of Tomei Super Express Highway was very smooth (the down lane was very crowded,) I was struck at the heavy congestion right after when I entered the Metropolitan Speedway. The flow of traffic was stopped on the place where the Roppongi Redevelopment Project went on. They mobilized three largest cranes in Japan to work on it. I could take pictures from the speedway of high-rise building which was under construction. I got to my home before five o'clock. It took three hours, two times as much as the usual drive.
