10/4/2001

In morning, I went to the National Cancer Center Central Hospital. The consulting doctor of today was Mr. Naoki Matsuoka (the second time.) The test result of PSA made by September 6. 2001 was 0.17, a bit higher than the former result. He asked me to go down to a doctor of radiology department and consulted her when the radio therapy for me to start. Doctor Minako Sumi received me. She said not a few patients took cold while they are treated with radiology in winter. Thus they are obliged to stop treatment ( except Saturday and Sunday and other holidays, patients have to continue the therapy once a day for seven weeks, ) Therefore the hospital do not take any patient for radio therapy during winter. So she reserved me to start it from February 18, the next year. She said she studied at an university in U.S.A. When I asked her which website is good for cancer treatment, she replied the CancerNet was the best. They reported in details about the prostate cancer too. They wrote it for patients and separately for doctors. Their English seems to be not so much difficult as I was told before. I will try to read it slowly.
