When I was in Ｎｅｗ Ｙｏｒｋ during the month of December, 1998, one of my friends's home was near to the residence of Ms. Yoko Ono. At a corner of the Central Park near the place of John Lenon's murder, a memorial plaque was buried. A few banquets were put on it. Suddenly I wanted to listen again their musics and dropped in a nearby big music shop. None of CDs of Beatles was available. But I could get a CD album of Maria Callas which I wished to get.

A TV news reported in December, this year that a new Beatles CD was put on market all over the world simultaneously. The new CD is a collection of number one singles and has 27 musics. Parents of forties and fifties bought them for their children to let them understand their parents had enjoyed such a wonderful music. It is a good present of Christmas |
Although I knew that the CD was sold in Tokyo simultaneously with other world cities, I was rather busy so that I could not go out to buy it through today. Finally I went to Yamano Music Store at Ginza four chome with a fear of sold out. Fortunately the store has had enough inventory and I could get it without any trouble. A sales staff told me they have sold thousands discs but it did not reach ten thousands.
As soon as I got home, I listened to it. When I heard an excellent and clear tune of "Love me do", I memorized the days more than thirty years ago. I hope these good musics would be played at any time to come just like classical musics.
