I spent a whole day for printing individual address on new year post card. I used a printing machine made by E company to print the addresses. The machine is generally recognized as one of the leading printers which I renewed last year. But it took almost the same seconds as of printing whole message. To print an individual address needs fewer words comparing with printing a whole message. So I was rather restless. At a chance when ink was dried out, I changed to a new printer made by X company. It is for USB connection. At first I selected the old machine which was said to be reliable, because if I failed to print, it would cost me five yen a card. But when I tried the new machine, I fount its printing speed was a few times faster than the convetional one.

Now I thought everything was going well. Then I got a phone call from a friend of mine and had a business talk with him. So I stopped printing in order to see the other pictures on screen. When the talks ended, I restarted the printing. But the printing was not finished although all spare cards were consumed. I bought a few more post cards at a convenient shop near my home. After the printing was finished, I checked the address list and found out number of printed cards was over than number of addresses on list. So I checked every printed card and found out some of them duplicated. I recognized when I restarted the printing, the unprinted addresses were mixed up with printed ones. My new year card system soft which I bought this year is built to extract those who moved to overseas or families in mourning, but it did not work well. At last, I found the system worked wrongly. I had to work till late in evening.
