It was very fine from early morning. When I drove up to the top of Otome pass about twenty minutes past eleven, I saw Mt. Fuji very clearly with my eyes. But as the moistures came out by this time, I failed to take clear picture of the mountain. If I came here much earlier this morning, I regret to say that it might be able to get much better pictures. When you drive down from Otome pass, you will find good spots for taking Mt. Fuji. But each of spot comes out suddenly and instantly it disappears. There it is very difficult to take pictures on cars. But today the traffic was so light that I could stop my car on road by confirming no following vehicles and take pictures of mountain from inside of car as shown in bottom.

Last afternoon I visited Mr. Nakamura at Lake Kawaguchi and asked him to check my old Vaio again.
He found that table of contents my diary was ill-shaped due to unknown reasons. He said this might bring troubles to the readers such as unnecessary long minutes to download the diary. Mr. Nakamura checked the list line by line with the result that the machine can work better.
As the traffic on Tomei Super Highway was very light, I could get to my home for one hour and a half.
In evening, I attended the regular meeting of Toranomon-kai. Ms. Tomoko Nakanishi, Doctor of Science and an assistant professor of agricultural life science study, the graduate course of Tokyo University. The theme of her speech was titled as "Movement of water and very small elements." She received Saruhashi award this year which was presented to the most distinguished female scientists of the year. Her activations have been quite energetic. For example, she visited 25 states in six months while she was studying at an institute in U.S.A. to collect specimens. She brought her students to the states in order to exercise the presentation of their studies to foreign scholars, as she talked to students that the announcement of research information must be done on international standard. The relation between plants and water is one of her main study themes. She said some of plants have functions accumulating elements such as Mn, Se, Au, etc. A plant which saves gold has been discovered, she said. From the distribution of this plant, the location of gold vein might be predicted. While her speech was quite interesting, I fell in nap beside her desk because of a few day long inadequate sleeping. I have to apologize her.
