In morning, I underwent a blood test and also a urine examination at S hospital. Every item examined was normal. I was given a hypodermic injection near my navel of 3.6 mg of Zoradex Depot (made by ZENECA of United Kingdom.) From now on, I have to get the injection every four week. I also have to take a tablet of Prostate 25mg (hormone preparation) twice a day, in morning and in evening.
Right after I came back to my home, I switched on TV to see BS digital TV broadcast which started this morning. I was surprised to find there are many broadcasting stations so that I am able to select them according to my taste. NHK has a new BS channel which comes from Education channel for ground broadcast.@NHK's all three channels presents good menu which is quite independent with each other.@But the so-called civilian broadcasting stations are sending the same special commemoration menu of Inauguration Memorial of BS Digital Broadcast on all their channels. A few hours later, each station has begun to broadcast its own menu but its three channels have had the same menu. Although they competed each other to get three channels at least just like NHK, they cannot afford for further investment for technology, installations and staffs. Other than the existing civilian stations, two new stations socialized in BS digital broadcast were born. But both of them have the same menu on their channels.
In south-east Asia, not a few people are listening to English broadcasts from foreign stations via space broadcast. I think this has helped to raise their English speaking ability. The other day when Twas in Nepal, Twas invited to a dinner at my friend's home. His children were enjoying comics in English broadcasted from foreign countries via satellite. I would like to suggest to use vacant channels of civilian broadcasting stations for foreign English broadcasts. It would be quite sure to help for raising English speaking ability of Japanese.
They emphasized the two way communication, but the transfer speed is not fast enough for enjoying it. A menu could not match data communication resulting in messy Q and A.
This was the first day of BS digital broadcast.
