It was stormy weather from early morning. The
more violent rain and wind storm was forecasted for afternoon.
In spite of the bad weather, all of eleven participants to Kurosunakai
Golf Match got together at Wakasa Golf Resort built on reclaimed
ground in Tokyo Bay by 8:30. The four persons, Messrs. Kitagawa,
Inoue, Iino and Miyake who have confidence in good health started
to play. The remaining seven, Messrs. Kambe, Ueno, Asakawa, Yanagisawa,
Miyauchi, Yamaguchi and I canceled plays. We enjoyed nice talking
with a bottle of red wine at a restaurant inside the resort which
had a wonderful view of Tokyo Bay. The party was dissolved after
one hour and a half talks. |

The golf resort has wrongly matched to us. Mr.
Toshihiro Muraki made efforts to reserve our starts on this colf
course last time when he was a general manager as his turn of
Kurosunakai golf match ( he has to reserve starts months earlier,
and has to prepay play fees.) On early morning of June 12, 2000,
we got together this place, but we were obliged to cancel plays
due to stormy weather. But all of us hoped to play here sometime
because the beautiful green turf was surrounded by sea was looked
open and comfortable. Thus, Mr. Muraki, the general manager on
turn, repeated his efforts and succeeded in getting starts on
today. The resort did not get well along with usl.
Mr. Muraki had to have a surgical operation
taking out his stomach because of cancer. He has left hospital
already and has been exercising rehabilitation to play again golf
after months. I am expecting his earlier recovery.
