Right after the troubles on my audio equipments were cleared, it became impossible to connect my note PC to access points of attglobal. I can call their phone number, but the connection was rejected because of some troubles about my pass words or something else. If they come from pass words, it was impossible to restore the communication until this morning 9:30 when attglobal customer service is opened. So with Mr. Nakamura's help, I built a temporary system by using Rosenet and Athenenum. It worked well and I could send and receive mails last night.
Before I went to bed, I put defragment on HD of my PC. When I got up at four this morning, I acknowledged the defragment was completed. Immediately I checked incoming mails and found the list of received mails as usual. But when I tried to open a letter, its contents never came out. The PC has a blank display. This is a very serious accident for me. The mails before my late U.S. trip were saved in MO discs. I planned to save the mails during and after the trip on CD-R but I did not start such a work yet through today. All important received mails were lost.
Meanwhile when I called attglobal custom service this morning, she said nothing was wrong about my ID and pass wrods. But she added that my registered credit card was expired last month and said that it might be the reason why my connection was rejected. I told her the new expire date on my new card. Immediately the trouble was solved. I think they should warn customers before the troubles happened.
Incidentally, no trouble was found on received mails.
